tooltip posistion

I purchased a license of tooltip, and it is working fine in my website, but I could not set the position, top and left , what is the problem ?

How did you set the position property in your tooltipOptions?

I used offsetX and offsetY in the script, but nothing changed

I am asking the position property, not offsetX  property

Currently I am using position = 1, so that the popup appears over the icon, not far away from the icon.
as I could not find a way to make it appear near the icon, although I used many values for the position property

Then you should be able to adjust the position by offsetX and offsetY. They are applicable when position=1.
There is a special scenario under which the position won't work: the map and hotspots. Please read this thread:
