Good day

I have implemented the drop-down menu with css and the .htc file on one of my web pages in order to test that it works on all browsers.  Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but it works fine in IE, but not in Chrome or in Firefox (the first drop-down menu works, but the second fly-out menu from the 1st drop-down, does not work in Chrome or Firefox).

If it is because I have not yet purchased the license, it is a catch-22 situation, because I will only purchase the license and roll out the changes to the rest of my site if I am assured that it shows correctly on all browsers.

Please also confirm if the license fee is once-off or annual.

Your kind assistance will be much appreciated.

The problem does not come from license. License will not block the menu functions. It only periodically displays a purchase reminder in IE browsers.
Please firstly try copy one of our demo codes to your page to see if it works fine. (Your page must have a  DOCTYPE setting before the <html> tage). If our demo works fine but yours doesn't, check your CSS configurations.
